Assistance Required for Failed Withdrawal to Ethereum

Hello there,

I recently attempted to withdraw my funds from the Fluence network back to Ethereum, but it seems the transaction didn’t go through successfully. Below is the Blockscout link for reference:

Transaction Link: 0xf1fb0d0da0a063d5fddccec5efad2d165114379db2ec1978189a5d1fc2e6f612

I’d greatly appreciate your assistance in investigating this matter. Could you please let me know if any additional steps are required on my end, or if there’s a known issue causing this withdrawal to stay in the waiting state?

Thank you in advance for your help, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best regards.

Hi,
please visit bridge.fluence.network, switch to withdrawal and click the history icon (clock) in the top right.
You should see your TX available to claim there. If you don’t see it or it appears as waiting, please try manually claiming the TX via the manual claim button.
If that doesn’t work, ping me and I’ll check with Gelato.
Kind regards,
Kieran

Hey, @DatDraggy, thank you for your help. I did try the way you suggested. As you have mentioned the tx appears as waiting, and this is what I get when manually try to claim it:

Can you please check with Gelato about what’s going on here? Just to avoid future questions I have not received tokens on the mainnet. I also can confirm that the destination address in the L2ToL1Tx call (from the transaction above) is correct.

Thank you for being so helpful!

It looks like it never actually went to L1…

These are bridging details from the transaction page from the details section:

Hi again, sorry for the confusion. In my earlier reply I failed to notice that the 7 days withdrawal period wasn’t fully passed yet for your TX. The full 7 days would pass in 10 minutes if I’m not mistaken. It then undergoes some additional processing from my understanding and should be able to claim in a maximum of 10 hours from now, most times usually an hour or two, if at all. Please try checking again in a few hours.

However, I did report the false error message of the TX already being claimed to Gelato.
There also was a hickup with Blockscout which resulted in you not seeing the required waiting time.

I understand now. It would be helpful to have a visual indication in the user interface that the withdrawal period is 7 days. I may have overlooked it if it is already displayed. I will wait and provide updates on any results.

Thank you again!

Hi, it actually does mention the 7 days under “transfer time” in the withdrawal interface.

I’ve received word that Gelato is taking a look at the error, but it now appears to be claimable!

I’m still waiting and encountering the same error when claiming the transaction. Any suggestions on what to try? @DatDraggy

Hi @tamtamchik that’s very odd, gelato is taking a look again, two days ago they were able to check the status successfully.

I’ll update you once I got a word back

Hi @tamtamchik I had a meet with Gelato and figured out that you need to change your Metamask network back to Ethereum instead of Fluence Mainnet. They’re already fixing it to not require that, but in the meantime if you want to claim, please switch your network and then you should be able to succesfully claim

@DatDraggy found the reason! The withdrawal UI does not work with Rabby Wallet (but it worked okay when I deposited, lol), so I had to install MetaMask to make it work. Worked with MetaMask!

I appreciate your help! Thanks a lot!
